Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program

Patients with severe breathing problems, such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder (COPD), persistent asthma and other respiratory conditions have a new resource to help improve the quality of their lives.

Inland’s Pulmonary Rehab Program, certified by the prestigous American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitatoin (AACVPR), is offered at Heart First’s Marden Cardiac Rehab Center at 244 Kennedy Memorial Drive in Waterville.

The program is personalized for each patient and includes expertise from a professional rehab team of physicians, nurses, dietitians, respiratory and occupational therapists, and pharmacists. Studies show that pulmonary rehab can result in less fatigue and help a person build the strength to perform daily activities, manage anxiety and depression, increase their ability to exercise, and reduce hospitalizations.
