Announcing Inland's Fall Pops Concert
Release Date:
10/20/2012
As another way to show our commitment to enhancing the quality of life in the Greater Waterville area, Inland Hospital is pleased to bring the
Portland Symphony Orchestra
and soprano Suzanne Nance here for the Fall Pops Concert on Saturday, October 20th.
It will be an exciting event held at the newly renovated Waterville Opera House. Tickets are on sale now - call 861-3028 to reserve your seats to this premier cultural event, and show your support for Inland Hospital.
The Portland Symphony Orchestra is led by music director Robert Moody and will perform popular selections including Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake, John Williams’ Olympic Fanfare, Gioachino Rossini’s Overture to William Tell and many others. The Portland Symphony Orchestra has been entertaining Maine audiences for 90 years. “We are very excited to perform in the Waterville area and look forward to entertaining the many Inland supporters of the Fall Pops event,” says Moody.
Special guest soprano Suzanne Nance from MPBN’s “
Morning Classical Music
” will also perform.
And don’t miss the pre-concert reception for Patron ticket holders. The reception will offer hearty hors d’oeurves at 5:30 and a chance to socialize at the REM Center before the concert begins at 7pm.
Two levels of tickets are available: $50 for Patron tickets which include the concert and admission to the hors d’oeurve reception before the concert; or $18 for general concert tickets. Tickets are available at 861-3028 from 8:00am– 4:30pm Monday through Friday.
All proceeds from the Fall Pops Concert will support Inland Hospital’s Focusing on Your Future campaign to renovate inpatient services.
Inland is pleased to recognize
Central Maine Auto Group
as the event’s premier sponsor.
