United Way honors Inland

Release Date: 12/16/2013

At its annual Campaign Celebration last week, the United Way of Mid Maine awarded Inland Hospital with the prestigious Diamond Club Award for extraordinary commitment and contribution to the United Way. Inland employees raised more than $37,000 for the United Way during their annual Employee Campaign this fall with 60% employee participation.
At the awards ceremony, United Way leaders praised Inland’s dedicated United Way committee which includes co-chairs Hope Pendexter and Sam Stafford, Angela Leary, Jen Curry, Jessica Maguire, June Allan, Nicole Robertson, Arlene Jones, Melanie Cunningham, Caroline Crowell, Bob Chapman, Stephanie Blair, Laura Gilbert-Caret, Judy Gray, and Crystal Richard.
United Way noted that “Inland exceeded both their monetary and participation goals on the way to another incredibly impressive fall campaign.  This success was driven by special events like bake sales, team games, a silent auction, and a fabulous soup and chowder challenge. In addition, the entire staff was divided up into four teams that challenged each other throughout the campaign. Congratulations to all of our Inland Hospital team members!”
