Inland Announces Community Benefit Funding

Release Date: 04/23/2015

Inland Hospital is pleased to announce its 2015 Community Benefit Program which provides mini-grants to organizations with missions and projects that benefit our community and align with Inland’s priority community health issues: access to care, obesity prevention, chronic disease management, poverty and economic opportunity, substance abuse prevention, mental health, homelessness, domestic violence, and transportation.
To manage the multitude of health-related and other challenges in the rural Maine community, Inland is committed to engaging collaborators to more effectively plan and implement initiatives aimed at improving health status and community well-being. We give priority to health-related initiatives, programs or services serving vulnerable or underserved populations in the Greater Waterville area, and organizations that are working to strengthen quality of life through other community-building efforts to include, economic, educational, and cultural endeavors.
Applications are open from April 23 to May 14, 2015. The application is available on our website, and can be completed and submitted online. If you have questions about the program, please contact Laura Howell, Community Benefit Coordinator at 861-3293 or lhowell@emhs.org.
