"Keep ME Home" Listening Session

Release Date: 01/07/2015

Inland invites the community to a "Keep ME Home" Listening Session on Tuesday, January 20, 1:30-2:30pm at Spectrum Generations Muskie Center, 38 Gold Street in Waterville.

Maine House Speaker Mark Eves (D-N. Berwick) is traveling the state to hear from seniors and community leaders on his Keep ME Home initiative and broader efforts to address the state’s aging challenges. Eves’ plan would create affordable housing for seniors through a $65 million housing bond; increase the Medicaid reimbursement rate for home healthcare workers; and expand property tax credits for seniors.

Spectrum Generations Muskie Center, Lakewood Continuing Care Center, Inland Hospital and EMHS are proud to co-sponsor this community forum. Open to the public, no registration needed.

FMI: Sheila Kinney, 873-4745 or TTY 1-800-464-8703. If you require special accommodation to attend this event, please contact us by January 15 for assistance.
