Auction to Benefit Lakewood Residents

Release Date: 04/29/2015

Lakewood Continuing Care Center is holding their 5th Annual May Day Auction Friday, May 1. The May Day Auction is from 6 pm to 8 pm that includes a Social and Silent Auction and Live Auction held at Lakewood, 200 Kennedy Memorial Drive in Waterville.

Since 2010 Lakewood and the Inland Hospital Foundation has initiated an annual auction to create an avenue of funding that would ensure residents would have the opportunity to enjoy a getaway to the coast of Maine for a week at Wonderview Cottages in Belfast.  To ensure the getaway for Lakewood residents, the goal is to raise $15,000.

Live Auction items for the event include 22 tickets for a Seadogs sky box for a game that includes food and drinks and a luncheon for four with Governor Paul LePage and the First Lady of Maine at the Blaine House in Augusta, amongst many other high value items.

For more information, or if you are unable to attend the May Day Auction donations can also be made to benefit Lakewood residents and their trip to Belfast by calling Donna-Jo Mitchell at 861-3377.
