Welcome Bridgett Fisher, FNP

Release Date: 04/07/2016

Please welcome Bridgett Fisher, FNP, a family nurse practitioner, to Inland Family Care.

Bridgett joined Dr. Jim Douglas and Tara Dwelley, FNP at our Washington Street practice in Waterville on March 21. She has been a primary care provider for more than four years and is board-certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

Bridgett says, “After being a nurse for over 10 years and working in a variety of settings from orthopedics to cardiac to obstetrics and then emergency care, I found that there was an underutilization of primary care and preventative care. The idea of helping people prevent disease is where I want to go with my career so now I am focused on primary care.”

“I appreciate the great relationship I have developed with patients over the years,” Bridgett reflects. “I find that some of them are more like family and with that, I have been blessed to be the healthcare provider for their children, grandchildren and even one great grandchild.”

Bridgett is married with two children. She enjoys watching her kids at their many sporting events, reading, and participating in local Paint Nights.

Welcome aboard Bridgett!
