Inland's Infusion Clinic offers a diverse range of services to meet the individual needs of our patients in a quiet, comfortable setting located within Inland Hospital. Our staff works closely with your Inland/EMHS provider to deliver personalized care using a team approach with the focus on you.

A department of Inland, Inland's Infusion Clinic is conveniently located on the main floor of the hospital at 200 Kennedy Memorial Drive in Waterville, Maine. Our phone number is (207) 861-3350.

Our Services:

We provide infusion and injection services for a variety of specialties including but not limited to:

RHEUMATOLOGY
  • Biologic therapy for
    • arthritis
    • lupus
    • scleroderma (such as Remicade, Orencia, Simponi Aria, Benlysta, Actemra, Rituxan, and more)
  • Medications for osteoporosis (such as Reclast, Boniva, and Prolia)
  • Therapy for vasculitis and myositis, including steroids and immune globulins
NEUROLOGY
  • Therapy for multiple sclerosis and polyneuritis such as Tysabri, immune globulins, and steroids
HEMATOLOGY/ONCOLOGY
  • Therapy for anemia management such as Aranesp and Iron Sucrose
WOUND CARE AND PODIATRY
  • Therapy for wound infections and osteomyelitis such as daily IV antibiotic infusions
PRIMARY CARE AND SURGICAL SERVICES
  • Pre and post-surgical services including:
    • antibiotic therapy
    • Lovenox injections or injection training
    • IV hydration
    • anemia management with Iron Sucrose infusions
    • central line maintenance of ports and PICCS with flushes, dressing changes, and lab draws
ALLERGIST/ENDOCRINOLOGY
  • Allergy injections to build or maintain response and medications used in conjunction with testing, such as Thryogen and Cortrosyn

Office Hours:

Monday-Friday, 8am-2pm by appointment with flexibility to provide some same day services for urgent cases. Extended hours can be arranged to meet individuals' needs, including weekends.

Referrals/Insurance:

All referrals require prior authorization from your insurance company prior to scheduling. Please let our office know if your insurance has changed prior to your service.

Cancellation Policy:

We request 24-hour notice if a change or cancellation is needed for your appointment. This helps us give other patients the opportunity to take the available appointment.

Do I need a physician referral for services?
Yes. Please contact us at (207) 861-3350 if you need specific information for a referral.

Who can order services at the Inland Infusion Clinic?
Any provider who has privileges within Inland/EMHS (Eastern Maine Healthcare Systems) may order services at our clinic within their specialty or in collaboration with an appropriate specialist.

Can I bring someone with me to my appointment?
Yes! Please feel free to bring a family member or friend with you. We want you to be comfortable during your appointment and encourage you to bring someone to chat with or play games. Bring your smartphone, tablet or laptop to keep yourself entertained. However, no pets are allowed unless registered service animals.

What about food?
We have limited selection of juices, ginger ale, coffee, and tea available. You are welcome to bring snacks with you or have a family member or friend get something for you at the Inland cafeteria.
