    Congratulations to Inland President/CEO John Dalton, and to SVH President/CEO Terri Vierra, for being named to the “60 Rural Hospital CEOs to Know” by Becker’s Hospital Review, a national publication that reaches more than 18,000 people each month (primarily hospital CEOs, CFOs and CIOs.)

  • Inland releases Annual Report/2017 Calendar

    Inland Hospital has released its Annual Report for 2016, and a 2017 Calendar. The report offers a look at how Inland is working together with many partners for a healthier community – from our Community Benefit grant program to our LET’S GO! Family Fun Series, Inland is collaborating to improve health beyond the care in the hospital and medical practices.

    As a member of EMHS, Inland Hospital is committed to improving the health of the communities we serve. Our Community Benefit Grant Program is designed to help address priority health issues facing local communities by expanding partnerships and use of evidence-informed prevention practices. Inland Hospital is seeking proposals that measurably impact one of these priority health issues as identified in our 2016 Shared Community Health Needs Assessment (Shared CHNA):

    Inland Hospital is pleased to welcome Dawn LeVasseur, FNP-C, a certified Family Nurse Practitioner to Inland Family Care – downtown Waterville. The practice is located at 16 Concourse West in Waterville.

  • United Way Honors Inland

    Inland Hospital was one of several Waterville area businesses recognized by the United Way of Mid-Maine for outstanding campaign contributions. Inland and Lakewood employees raised more than $24,000 in the annual United Way Employee Campaign in 2016. Hope Pendexter, RN, Inland’s employee campaign co-chair and John Dalton, Inland President accepted the award at the United Way’s Mad Hatter Gala and Auction event on December 15. Hope is also a member of United Way’s 2016 Campaign Cabinet. Congratulations to everyone for this Campaign Excellence Award, and for helping us make a difference in our community!

  • Inland Awarded Tobacco-Free Hospital Award

    Inland Hospital has been awarded a Gold Star in the Breathe Easy Coalition’s annual Maine Tobacco-Free Hospital Network awards. The award is in recognition of organizational dedication to excellence in healthcare through addressing tobacco use and smoke exposure by implementing best practice tobacco-free policies and procedures.
    Hope Pendexter, RN, Inland’s Employee Health Nurse accepted the award for Inland during a recent awards ceremony at the Maine Hospital Association.
