Walk through the doors of our lobby during the warm weather months and out onto the back patio. Bright and bountiful flowering plants, vegetables growing in raised planters, dappled sunlight playing through the patio roof create a welcoming spot for residents and their families. Lakewood is a not-for-profit skilled nursing facility that has cared for the residents of Central Maine for more than 20 years. We are fully licensed and certified by the State of Maine Department of Human Services. We accept Medicare, Medicaid, Blue Cross/Blue Shield and most commercial insurance plans.
